Event Description

Transform Your Retail Supply Chain to Changing Consumer Behavior.

The retail supply chain is undergoing a significant transformation. As consumer tastes and buying behavior changes, retailers are scrambling to meet the needs of their customers. Big, well known, retail brands are closing and upstart ecommerce companies are grabbing market shares. The growth of ecommerce sales is driving home delivery and new channels.

Additionally, consumer behavior is changing. Millennials are reaching their mid-thirties and they are buying and consuming very differently from their parent’s generation. Today’s consumer is paying closer attention to supply chains than ever before. Increasingly, consumers expect a transparent, ethical, sustainable supply chain.

As consumer buying behavior changes, retailers and their supply chain partners must also change. The retail supply chain will become even more sophisticated and visible to the end customer. Consumers, who previously knew little about supply chains are expecting supply chains to behave ethically and minimize environmental impacts. Consumers are also pushing for more home delivery options, which has the biggest retailers (Wal-Mart, Amazon, etc.) rolling out last mile delivery options.

All these changes are driving big changes to the retail supply chain. In this webinar, expert speakers Joe Lynch and John Condon will review and discuss the top retail supply chain trends.
