The New ELD Mandate – Be Proactive in Making Changes Painless and Cost Effective

The new ELD mandate has created new and very specific changes to the way trucking companies do business. Because of the new rulings and guidelines the ELD Mandate has put on all trucking companies, the way trucking companies used to work may no longer be an option. With the ELD mandate now in full swing, the trucking industry is experiencing many issues that have become magnified because of the inflexibility of the new rulings. There are many issues, and this session with transportation expert Mark Dixon will focus on two of the biggest the industry is facing: excessive dock times at both shippers and receivers, and what can be done to help alleviate these problems. Mark will also discuss the marked increase in the driver parking shortages available once their 11/14 hour ruling has hit the wall. He will discuss the options available to help resolve them.

This session will discuss concrete solutions to those two very important issues confronting the trucking environment. Many of the larger companies that have been “electronic” for several years now have already been over this hump in the road and have successfully incorporated new practices to minimize the issues this new ruling has imposed. With this session, you will learn what can be done successfully to help you get over this hump in the road as well. Mark will provide alternatives to successfully overcome these issues.

Mark will provide concrete solutions to what can be done to alleviate the negative impact many of these rulings have placed on all trucking companies today. If you’re feeling the impact and negativity on your bottom line because of these issues, you cannot afford to miss this very crucial and informational session. The ruling isn’t going to change so being proactive now will help make this change as painless and cost effective as possible, not only as business owners but for your drivers as well. You cannot afford to miss this opportunity! Sitting around and waiting for things to automatically get better is never the right option.
