Learn How Incoterms® 2010 Can Help You Avoid Costly Legal and Financial Problems

Incoterms® are not international law, or U.S. or international regulations. They are not the terms of payment that dictate how and when you get paid. They do not address various forms of payment. Incoterms® do not speak to how long it takes to get paid, or to transfer of title and ownership of goods. Incoterms® are also not the American Foreign Trade Definitions of 1941.

Join this session, where customs and international trade lawyer Martin (Ken) Behr III will discuss what Incoterms® are, and what they are intended and not intended to do. Martin will cover how to use ICC Publication No. 715, Incoterms® 2010, as a reference to avoid costly legal and financial problems.

This session will discuss the structure and provisions of the Incoterms® 2010 terms of sale. You will learn how to apply Incoterms® in international and domestic contract situations and give them legal standing.
