Geoffrey brings over 30 years manufacturing and consulting experience as Account Manager of Business Process Improvement and Reengineering initiatives, including Change Management and implementation of state-of-the-art, technology based business and operational solutions. His projects have always been on time and delivered the promised savings usually far exceeding expectations. Geoffrey has an uncommonly diverse experience base in all facets of business improvement, process consulting from blue collar (Manufacturing and Assembly), to white collar (Directors and Upper Management), technical and professional (Engineering, Design, Programming, Set-up and Maintenance) to clerical areas. As Account Manager and a Lean Facilitator he has managed Six-Sigma black belts, Quality Circles, Process Action Teams and facilitated Kaizen / Lean Manufacturing events over 350 times, to achieve and maintain continuous improvement. He has been involved in Implementation projects and consulting analyses throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe, Africa, South America, Central America and throughout Asia.
Geoffrey worked over 30 years planning, implementing and managing a variety of value-adding initiatives at the corporate and plant level of leading manufacturing companies. He has hands-on experience at all levels of business.
With this diverse experience, he has developed and implemented business and operating process improvements in virtually every business acumen. These client partnership engagements teams have made sustainable bottom line improvements.
Geoffrey is a Journeyman Tool and Diemaker, a Senior Tool and Process Engineer, and has a Degree in Business Management. Mr. Mika has been trained in Japan in the Toyota Production System as well as by Shingijutsu Consultants and is a certified Kaizen Sensei (Master Trainer of TPS). He is a Master Black-belt, The author of the “Work Smart Production System”, the best selling Kaizen book “Kaizen Event Implementation Manual,” “Poka-yoke: Eliminate Errors and Mistakes”, 21st Century Continuous Improvement, Six-Sigma, Green Belt Trainers Manual and other technical works pertaining to “Lean Manufacturing. He is coauthor of “The Manufacturing Engineering Handbook” by McGraw-Hill.
