Jeff Hafer has held several roles in regulatory affairs and product stewardship in the Rohm and Haas and Dow Chemical Companies since 1999. Prior to joining global corporate regulatory he served as a process chemist for agricultural chemicals and as an analytical chemist for FDA related products. Subsequently he served as the global regulatory specialist for several polymer business units and also as the Product Leader for the Dow Coating Materials business managing a team of global product stewards. Currently he is the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) regulatory manager for the Dow Chemical Company. Jeff holds a MS degree in Organic Chemistry from St Joseph's University.
He chaired the Product Stewardship Committee of the American Coatings Association from 2005-2010 and the Emulsion Polymers Council from 2006-2013. He currently chairs the American Chemistry Council Regulatory Assistance and Information Network (RAIN) and has delivered numerous presentations on global issues at regulatory and business conferences.
