Erin D. Gilsbach is an associate with KingSpry and the Director of Professional Education and Policy Development. She develops professional coursework for educators. In that capacity, she designs the curriculum and conducts many of the courses offered, which address a variety of pertinent legal topics for educators and administrators including both special education and regular education issues.
Prior to joining KingSpry, Mrs. Gilsbach served as a legal intern at the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Office of Chief Counsel, where she handled cases regarding teacher tenure and certification, NCLB, charter schools, private licensed schools, special education and other school law issues. Ms. Gilsbach began her career in the classroom as a full-time public high school teacher.
Mrs. Gilsbach has been named a Rising Star honoree by Super Lawyer Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law and received a B.A. in English with a minor in Secondary Education from Grove City College as well as a Masters in Education from Pennsylvania State University.
