Beata Cebere has Master of Science degrees in Environmental Science and Policy and Biology and Biochemistry, from the Central European University and University of Latvia, respectively. She also holds a diploma qualifying her as a foreign relations department leader from the University of Latvia's Institute of International Relations. Beata's work experience started with the position of head specialist of ecology in one of the administrative districts in Riga, Latvia on 1994. During this job she became familiar with different municipal and state legislative acts on different areas of environment. Later, she worked in the Latvian State Investment program on wastewater and drinking water systems improvement in Latvia (1998-2001). She also worked as project assistant - manager for the EU-financed wastewater and drinking water stations projects implementations (constructions of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), drinking water plants) in Latvia (2003-2007). Beata was also responsible for construction of a new WWTP for the biggest pharmaceutical company in the Baltic republics, JSC Grindex. During this time she worked on several publications, listed below. At present Beata is working at ChemADVISOR where her main responsibility is collection and interpretation of chemical regulatory information on Eastern European countries. She also provides regulatory compliance assistance to European-based customers, consulting and participating in seminars, training and marketing.
