John Livengood is a Managing Director with Navigant's Global Construction Practice and has 40 years of experience in construction, design, delay analysis and litigation support. John's areas of expertize include: construction, construction management, government contracts, litigation support, mediation, arbitration, construction litigation, cost analysis, change order analysis, delay and disruption claims, acceleration claims, and loss of productivity claims. As an expert witness, John has testified in court and arbitration proceedings throughout the world on delay and productivity issues as well as damages and causation issues.
Mr. Livengood is active in several professional organizations, including AACE International, ABA, CMAA and the ASCE. He has published numerous articles on construction claims and delay analysis and speaks regularly on these topics. He is also one of the principal authors of the AACE Recommended Practice on Forensic Schedule Analysis (RP29R-03, 2011). Mr. Livengood holds a B.Arch. from Syracuse University and a J.D. from Catholic University of America.
