Guillaume Flament works as Public & Regulatory Affairs Officer at the Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA) in Brussels, Belgium. He holds a master's degree in International and European Studies from Science Po Grenoble, France; he has acquired experience in advocacy and European affairs in Brussels.
At NIA, Mr. Flament's activities encompass regulatory affairs and standardization. Mr. Flament built up NIA's nanotechnology-centered regulatory monitoring database, a repository containing references and analysis on over a hundred law texts and standards. On behalf of the Association, Mr. Flament serves as a liaison officer on European and international standardization committees working on nanotechnologies (CEN/TC 352 - Nanotechnology and ISO/TC 229 - Nanotechnology).
