Nadine Haupt, Transportation Safety Expert

Nadine Haupt

With over 20 years experience in professional motorsports, automotive, commercial trucking, engineering consulting, and alternative fuels industries, Nadine Haupt, P.E., is a pioneer for women in traditionally male-dominated technical fields and an expert in how to succeed in them.

As the Founder of NRH Enterprises LLC, Nadine consults in the transportation industry as an expert in alternative fuels and engine design and development. In 2014, Nadine also launched FAST Women in Business™ - a coaching and consulting firm dedicated to helping results-driven career women in fast-paced corporate jobs who want to break through career plateaus, accelerate their impact and income substantially, and always look forward to Monday mornings.

Since 2011, Nadine served as the Director of Alternative Fuels and Powertrain Product Marketing at Navistar frequently presenting technical topics and market trends to industry conferences and association meetings as well as leading dealer and sales training in alternative fuels for commercial trucking. She joined Navistar in 2008 as Manager of Strategic Planning, Engine Group, where she initiated and led efforts to develop alternative fuels technology and corporate product strategy. Prior to Navistar, Nadine provided technical expertise as an expert witness for clients defending automotive product liability lawsuits for Engineering Systems, Inc. Nadine began her career as a product engineer for Chrysler Corporation, later moving to Corsa Instruments, where she was responsible for engine and vehicle engineering development and new product introductions. Her career also includes eight years of professional race team management as the operations manager for Honda’s CART/Indy Car race engine program and as a trackside engine performance engineer for both Mercedes-Ilmor Engineering and the Ford-Cosworth CART/Indy Car racing programs.

Nadine earned a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. In addition to her licensure as a professional engineer, she holds three graduate degrees: a Master’s in mechanical engineering from Oakland University, a Master’s in materials science engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Pepperdine University. She is also a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) with the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching, and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation.
