Michael Pettinella is an Associate Director in the New York City office of Navigant. He specializes in construction project advisory and dispute resolution services, including critical path method scheduling, forensic schedule analysis, and damages quantification. Mr. Pettinella has experience with a variety of construction disputes - including mediation, arbitration and litigation. He has provided support to clients and to counsel during all phases of the legal process and has also been deposed in New York State Supreme Court. Additionally, he has been engaged to work alongside construction management teams to assess potential risk factors throughout the duration of active projects. He has worked extensively with Primavera Project Planner 3 (P3) and Primavera Project Management 5 & 6 (P5 & P6) for critical path method (CPM) scheduling and forensic schedule analysis. He has helped clients identify and investigate scheduling issues that eventually lead to delayed completion dates in order to quantify time loss. This analysis is then used primarily to apportion delay and cost liability on the respective parties involved.
