Rob Krieg, JD, GBA, currently serves as compliance officer for Hill, Chesson & Woody Employee Benefit Services (HCW), where he specializes in regulation compliance for health and welfare benefit plans, including all laws and regulations that impact employee benefits. As Compliance Officer, Rob utilizes his knowledge of benefit regulations including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and the areas of tax code that impact employee benefits to help identify compliance concerns and offer recommendations to clients.
Prior to joining HCW, Rob spent many years in Baltimore County, MD, where he worked as an Assistant State Attorney. Rob received his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond. Rob also holds a Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Rob currently resides in Durham with his wife, Erica, and their twin boys.
