Michael C. Roach is a Partner in the law firm of Meade & Roach, LLP and a Managing Director of the Aegis Compliance & Ethics Center, LLP, a consulting firm in Chicago, Illinois. He advises clients on a wide variety of subjects including clinical trial billing compliance, HIPAA, health information privacy and security, intellectual property, corporate compliance and contracting issues.
He has served clients in the health care industry as in-house counsel and in private practice since 1990. Roach had extensive experience in the health care industry prior to beginning his legal career. He was the Administrator of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia, he served on a National Cancer Institute grant in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and he was an operations analyst at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Roach graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law. He was a U.S. Public Health Service Fellow at the University of Michigan School of Public Health where he received his Masters Degree in health administration. He has a Masters Degree in sociology from the University of Illinois and a B.A. with High Honors from Northeastern Illinois University.
