Learn about EIV Reporting, Compliance and Handling EIV Discrepancies and the Effect of EIV on Your Management and Occupancy Review (MOR)

The EIV system is used to verify employment and income information at the time of recertification and to reduce errors in subsidy payments. The EIV system is a web-based application which provides owners with employment, wage, unemployment compensation and Social Security benefit information for tenants participating in HUD's assisted housing programs. Information in EIV is derived from computer matching programs initiated by HUD with the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

HUD requires owners/ agents to use the "EIV & You" brochure to inform tenants about the EIV system, data use and their responsibilities as tenants. As the owner/ agent, HUD expects you and your staff to be well-versed in the latest EIV requirements. That's why compliance with the EIV regulations and use is essential.

Register now for this 90-minute webinar in which our expert speaker, Debbie Hixon, will guide you through the critical aspects of the EIV system-from the correct sources of EIV data, to the Rules of Behavior for EIV Users and the Security Awareness Safeguard Methods and how to report discrepancies. Find out about HUD's latest system updates.

After attending this webinar, you will better understand reporting under EIV, how to resolve EIV discrepancies and how to ensure that your office is EIV compliant. You'll also receive a handy "Chart of Use of EIV Reports" and a sample tenant consent form for disclosing EIV income Information.
