Handle Big Data Efficiently

Do you import and manipulate large, unwieldly datasets in Microsoft Excel? Then you’re already well aware of the software’s limitations! But Power Query (known as Get and Transform in Excel 2016) is designed to break through those limitations, allowing you to work efficiently and effectively with datasets of a million rows or more—imported  from virtually any source.

Mike Thomas has a passion for teaching Excel and has hosted hundreds of courses and webinars showing users how to move beyond the program’s basic functions. Power Query is Excel’s most powerful data tool, and Thomas can teach you to use it to transform big data into a format ready for pivot tables and reports.

In this session, you will learn to import data into Excel from external sources, link to external sources, create pivot tables from external data sources, use the Query Editor to clean and transform data, and create calculated columns in pivot tables. Get expert guidance for using this tool and unleash the power of big data.
