Dashboards and reports are a critical tool in your communication armory. A well-designed and meaningful dashboard offers a CEO, shareholder or Project Manager a valuable insight into the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) upon which a business or project is measured and enables them to determine the future direction of the business or project.
Although there are many tools that can be used to create a dashboard, Excel is commonly used due to its power, its flexibility and the fact that most people have it installed on their computer or mobile device. Excel dashboard skills are in high demand, with the growing importance of Business Intelligence (BI). The use of dashboards as a display tool is a hot topic right now and consequently being able to create them is a must have skill for the serious Excel user. There's no "create a dashboard" command in Excel. Creating a dashboard involves using a combination of tools that are built-in to Excel.
This session with expert speaker Mike Thomas will help you create Excel dashboards, using Excel 2016 for Windows and leverage the power of data analysis to make critical business decisions. Note that much of the functionality available in Excel 2016 is also featured in Excel 2013 and 2010.
