This presentation by Mark Kozak will show the changes that Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has mandated to labels and safety data sheets for chemical products. You will understand the new pictograms that must appear on labels, signal words and phrases that are mandated to highlight risks, label design, and mandated information. In addition, Mark will discuss the dates that have been designated for training, manufacturing, and distribution of the effected products in the channels of trade. The regulatory citing, examples from OSHA of labels as well as the format that must be followed on safety data sheets will be shown and discussed.
