How the Recently Revised Circular 230 Imposes New Duties and Responsibilities on Tax Practitioners

There were some major revisions announced to Circular 230 by the IRS in 2011. The new proposed changes were announced by the IRS in 2012. We all try to do what is right; however, a lot of us have busy practices and due to those pressures we inadvertently come across an ethical issue. There has been some recent revisions made to Circular 230 and new responsibilities and duties have been imposed on practitioners who represent taxpayers before the IRS.
