Learn How Changes to DACA and TPS Programs Impact Form I-9 Compliance

In September, the Trump administration ended the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and is slowly phasing out Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for certain countries. The past year of the new administration saw many other changes to the immigration laws, all of which impact Form I-9 compliance. In addition, the Form I-9 is frequently referred to as “the most complicated two page form in America”. The instructions for Form I-9 can be confusing and non-compliance with the requirements can lead to large penalties for your organization.

Join this session with industry veteran Patricia A. Bollman to explore some of the complex areas of I-9 compliance and to learn how to resolve the challenges that many companies face regarding Form I-9 compliance, especially in the era of the new administration and its focus on immigration. Patricia will cover the changes to immigration programs and law and will discuss how it affects Form I-9 compliance. You will also understand some of the most common issues that employers face with Form I-9 compliance and you will get answers to all your Form I-9 questions.
