What is E-Verify, How it Works, and Employers’ Obligations.

The Trump Administration has made immigration enforcement, including worksite enforcement, a high priority. E-Verify will most likely become mandatory for all the employers, are you prepared? Employers need to make sure that they understand the E-Verify process and make certain that they are aware of their obligations when they become an E-Verify employer.

Since proper completion of the Form I-9 and E-Verify go hand in hand, employers also need to evaluate their internal processes with respect to Form I-9 compliance. There are some questions though that may need answers, such as should an employer join now or wait until the law requires joining E-Verify, or what exactly is E-Verify and what does it require an employer to do, or more.

This webinar by expert speaker Patricia A. Bollman will discuss the mechanics of how E-Verify works and what it requires of an employer as well as the evaluation an employer should make before joining E-Verify.  Patricia will review the steps that an employer should take to make certain that the company’s employment eligibility verification practices are in the best possible position to support E-Verify.
