When an employer has the knowledge to utilize certifications and other FMLA forms correctly it leads to compliance and gives them the tools to curb FMLA abuse. While the core suite of FMLA forms such as responsibilities and designation notices, notices of rights, and doctors' certifications of serious health conditions have already expired on Feb 28, 2015, the federal government have recently (on March 31, 2015) revised the FMLA forms. Failure to incorporate the changes by employers and HR professional per the new FMLA forms may lead to non-compliance.
