The impact of same day and next day delivery is being felt in all industries and there is no doubt that warehousing costs are increasing as the need for quicker delivery and processing becomes the norm. Transforming the warehouse to be “intelligent” is becoming critical for success. Now is the time to transform your warehouse into an “intelligent” warehouse where robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), 3D printing, machine learning, etc. are deployed to create the “warehouse of the future”. Where are you going to be in 2025?
In this session, expert speaker Dave Malenfant will talk about the trends in warehousing, distribution and transportation (W, D &T) that are leading to the need for transformation. Dave will review some of the options and tools available to make the warehouse “intelligent” through machine learning and the use of artificial intelligence.
